Rose Emporium: A collective art gallery against Tyranny
Enjoy a diverse selection os work from the artists of the Rose Emporium collective. Welcome to the home of the New Renaissance, where artists work together to inspire a vision of our earth as a sanctuary for humanity.
“There’s a collective sense of doom in the world, a feeling that we are living through dark ages. Perhaps you reading these words are one of those who have given up on the idea that things can get better, for hope is often one of the most painful emotions to hold onto.”
Features: Art by Matthais Warlick, Lucian Zvara, Tiffany Neumann, Christina Anderson, and Lady Li Andre
Saturday (10/3) noon-6pm
Drop-in Art Activities:
Collage workshop, pet portraits, writing prompts & games
Drop in anytime during Arts Walk on Saturday to enjoy these free activities:
Collage Workshop:
Step inside and let your hands do the thinking. Join local artist Tiffany Neuman for a relaxed, drop-in collage workshop where scraps of paper, texture, and color come together into something entirely your own. No experience necessary, no plan required. All materials provided. Come as you are and leave with a small piece of art born from an afternoon of play.
Free Pet Portraits:
Got a good boy, a grumpy cat, a suspiciously majestic hamster? Artist Kiomye Thompson is whipping up free digital portraits of pets on the spot — any species welcome, fur optional. No pet in tow? No problem, a photo works just fine. Want to really spoil them? Upgrade to a $10 watercolor and give your pet the fine art treatment they deserve.
Write on the Story Tree:
Add a new branch to the story on our community art project. Write a word, a wish, or a line of your own on a strip of paper, add a bit of thread and beading, then tie it to our driftwood tree. Fill the branches with hopes, memories, and small moments. After Arts Walk, this tree will find a permanent home in the Writing Center as a living collection of our community's creative prose and ideas.
Features: Collage instruction by Tiffany Neumann, pet portraits by Kiomye Thompson, and writing prompts by the Alibi Writers Society.
